What Can I Expect?
We understand that stepping into a new church environment for the first time can be quite daunting for many individuals and families. Our hope is that this page will serve as a helpful resource to guide you as you navigate your way through our Sunday morning services, as well as familiarize yourself with the various areas of our church building.
Join us early for a coffee pick-me-up.
We’re here early at 9:00 am with steaming hot coffee and yummy treats in the LEC (Life Enrichment Center). You’ll find the LEC entrance under the covered carport. Enter through those double doors, and make yourself at home.

Come on in to our main sanctuary.
Join us for 9:30 am worship in the sanctuary located right off Tipton Street South. Use either of the two main entrances facing the street, one of which has a handicap accessible ramp. We’ll be waiting for you right inside the door. If you’re coming from the LEC, take a right down the hall (if your back is to the double doors) and head up the left set of stairs. We’re here to help if you can’t find your way.

Nursery Services are available.
Nursery services are available for our worship service and Sunday School hour for children 6 weeks - 4 years old. Our nursery is staffed with background checked, CPR certified workers who follow all Safe Sanctuary policies. You can feel at ease knowing your children are well cared for. The nursery is located in the separate Munford First Methodist Church Children’s Building and accessed through the right side door under the breezeway. (Just give the door a knock.)

Grab the word (or a fidget or two).
If your child would like an activity during a worship service, please feel free to grab a fidget toy, a coloring sheet, some crayons, or even all three options from our "Grab the Word" box. You will find this resource conveniently located in front of the sanctuary on the left side. Feel free to come up and take what you need at any time during the service. We truly don't mind a bit, and we want everyone to feel comfortable and engaged!
Let’s head to Sunday School.
Worship service is over, and now we’ll make our way to our 9:30 am Sunday School. Exit out the left door at the front of the sanctuary. Just follow the crowd if you’re not sure! Feel free to grab another cup of coffee in the LEC or stop at either of our two sets of restrooms located outside the sanctuary or across the building outside the kitchen.
We have three adult Sunday School classes, one K-5 class, and one 6-12 class. Nursery Services are available too. Learn more about our classes, including their locations, here.
